50 years of innovations

High-technology, from design to production

Founded in 1968, Dominioni designs and manufactures professional equipment for pasta in the market of restaurants, hotels and catering companies as well as for pasta producers at industrial level providing professional equipment for pasta factories and medium/large industry. The models of various capacities are designed for many pasta types and include mixers, machines for fresh and dry pasta, short and long, filled pasta, gnocchi, lasagne, ready meals and treatment lines to increase the product shelf-life.

Valoriani represents history, quality and value. Valoriani is a family managed furnace, currently in its fifth generation and with more than 100 years of experience. Its roots can be found in the Florentine area of Figline Valdarno, back in the 1890’s. Here, Pietro Valoriani established a furnace to produce vases, jars and bricks in refractory cotto clay. After the discovery of a good quality refractory clay cave, Gino Valoriani, grandfather of the current owner, Massimo Valoriani, decided to move the furnace to Reggello, where the company remains to this day. After the end of the second world war, with the need to reconstruct our nation, as a manufacturer of bricks, Valoriani was well positioned to contribute to the rebirth of Italy by supplying refractory bricks to communities to enable them to build and restore artisanal bread ovens.

A Major turning point for Valoriani was in the 1940’s, when Silvio Valoriani, son of Gino, had a ‘Eureka moment’ to grow the company: Tha Valoriani Family start to produce Ovens .

Silvio went on to design and build the first prefabricated wood fired oven, taking advantage of the secular experience of the Valoriani family in the choice of raw materials and defining the structural design of the vault – perfect in all its’ proportions and is the very same one used today. He used the very same materials used in the traditional artisanal ovens, but he increased the stability and simplified the process of assembling an oven. This idea was put into practice during the Italian economic boom period, which corresponded with the explosion of the ‘pizza phenomenon’.

Valoriani stands alone from its competitors. They are not just oven assemblers – Valoriani is the only company in the world that produces all the refractory components of the oven ‘in house’, including the baking floor. Valoriani baking floors are produced in the factory after the very best raw materials in the world are conscientiously selected. The internal production allows the study of a specific receipt that even diversifies in baking floor for Neapolitan pizza, Classical pizza or bread. The floor sections are pressed and baked in our kiln at over 1300°C for about 16 hours. This process allows the manufacture of a product specifically formulated to be used in pizza ovens, thus not adapting to what can be found on the market.

In the following years, Massimo’s knowledge, expertise and capacity to experiment, legitimised the success of both professional and domestic ovens and ceramic stoves branded Valoriani, in Italy and abroad.

The name Valoriani is supported, in its quality and safety, by certifications and declarations recognised on an international level, such as Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana (AVPN).

The quality and safety of Valoriani ovens is guaranteed in Italy and all over the world by recognitions received by multiple Certification Institutions and Associations of the field.

FB born at Capezzano Pianore (Lucca, Tuscany)

Futura is the first ice cream showcase in this project of mass-production, ratified the companies entrance among the main players in the Italian market.

The true turning point came with Sintesi, which introduced the subzero double ventilated refrigeration.

The innovative vocation of FB is confirmed with Vision and the introduction of double exposure.

2004 FB joined Clabo Group.

The highest expression of elegance in a showcase with double exposure is reached with Sofia.

The restyling of the FB’s symbol showcase leads to the creation of Sintesi II Atto.

2016 FB combines design, transparency and technological excellence in a stunning showcase, Amazing.

Located in the north east of Italy, DEINOX is a up-and-coming company which, thanks to the professionalism and years of experience of its founders in the catering equipment sector, is a solid, well-established business.

The company produces drop-in equipment for food distribution and visible cooking, compact units for “Front Cooking” pasta preparation and cooking, as well as modular frames ready to be clad for creating self-service fittings.

history

1986

After 20 years of experience in the field of mechanical technology and technical customer service Karl Neulichedl founds his company at Prato Isarco, Alto Adige. With only one employee the concept of the drying ironer gets developed. At the beginning of the business activity the productive part was managed, for logistic reasons, by a third partner. The production amounted three machines in the first year.

1987

Daughter Karin Neulichedl joins the company as the head of administration.

The production of the ironers is now done at the company’s site. The regional success of the drying ironer leads to an internationalisation of the commercial activities and relationships.

The first exported machine goes beyond the Italian border to Austria.

1990

First deliveries of the drying ironer in bigger quantities through a well-known company of the Triveneto, which gets the general reseller licence for the Italian territory. By now the company reached a production capacity of 150 machines per year.

1992

Founder Karl Neulichedl gets honoured for his efforts with the diploma “Working Italy Price”, handed over by the president of the Pragma Grandi Congressi in Bologna, Giovanni Agretti.

1993

Construction of the 500th drying ironer.

1997

Beginning of the works for the new administrative and productive buildings in the new handicraft zone of Cornedo, Alto Adige.

1999

Inauguration of the new company site, equipped with a production area, modernized to the state of the art in technology. At the same time also a powder varnishing chamber and a furnace got installed.

2000

The staff has grown to three people in administration and nine in production.

2001

The 15th and 10th anniversaries of two staff members show the loyalty and trust towards the company.

2006

Good commercial relationships have been built in the European territory. The drying ironers are exported all over the world.

Because of the continuously growing demand and the assiduity of our employees we were by now able to produce more than 1.500 drying ironers.

Through effort, diligence and competence we can today look back upon a proud corporate growth. 18 employees and collaborators are now working at our company, also three salesmen.

2008

An employee is celebrating its 20-year commitment to the company.

2010

The Ministry for Economic Development has finally registered the name “KAAN” as a trademark. It represents our products and services and sets us apart from our competitors on the market.

Two 20-year service anniversaries are evidence of loyalty to the company. “KAAN” as a trademark.

2011

An employee celebrates its 15th anniversary in company.

The company KAAN celebrates their 25th anniversary.

2012

Two people celebrate their 15th or 20th anniversary.

2014

Completion of the 2500th drying ironer.

2015

Three employees were celebrating an anniversary in 2015. 2 employees celebrated their 20-year company membership and one employee even celebrated its 25th anniversary.

2016

The company KAAN celebrates its 30th anniversary of the company and donates to “Südtirol hilft”

 

2017

Lutz Christian celebrates his 20th anniversary.

2018

For 20 years KAAN is based in Blumau.

Farewell party from our long-time representative Siegfried Zemmer.

Our employee Federer Erwin gets the award for “Master of work”.
